Goldstone is not made of gold which is why I put the name in quotes. It is,
in fact, small particles of copper embedded in glass. The color of glass that it is encased in
affects its appearance. If it is encased in blue, it is called Blue Aventurine; green glass
is Green Aventurine; pink glass is Champagne Aventurine; and amber or clear is called Goldstone.
